Are you good at finding a newsworthy angle on employment, computer technology, medical technology, commercial transportation, LED lighting and residential development trends?

Do you like conducting research and getting interviews with subject matter experts.

We need a productive, energetic, experienced writer who can consistently generate easy to read and understand content that makes technology, medical, lighting and construction trends easy to appreciate.

Twitter is great. But this is a job for someone who thrives on creating longer form content, with more meat on the bone.

You will research, write, create, edit and format a variety of documents:

• Press releases
• Editorial feature work
• Content for company intranet and internet
• Scripts for video projects
• Marketing material
• Social Media content
• Advertisement copy

May occasionally help proposal department with creating better presentations.


Technology writing experience is a must. Must be published in varied technology forums (papers, magazine, web). Must have knowledge and understanding of engineering/science technical terms and language. Must be able to “translate” highly technical concepts into communicable stories.

MS Suite fluency required. Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal. We are looking for a self-starter technology storyteller: able to listen to a technical concept, see it’s mass appeal, translate it, and tell a complete story.

We are looking for someone who can and will handle all steps of a process with minimum guidance from management. Must be able to work well with a small in-house production team.

Must be highly creative, outgoing, enthusiastic, versatile and a team player. Thinking outside the box a plus. Must be able to relate well to people to establish consistent communication with all departments. Must be able to work under time pressure.
